ABOUT US

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

Preserving the Past. Building the Future.

Built to Last Construction was founded in 1979 by Robert Psulkowski in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where he established a reputation for meticulous custom carpentry and fine craftsmanship.

In 2013, the family relocated to Fernandina Beach and Rob continued working with a heavy focus on historic restoration. Over the following decade, he restored some of Amelia Island's most notable properties, including the Amelia Island Williams House, the Addison on Amelia, the Fairbanks House, and the Amelia Island History Museum.

Dylan Psulkowski joined the family business in 2023, learning the trade hands-on from his father. In 2024, he assumed majority ownership, continuing the standard of quality and architectural integrity that has defined the company for over four decades.

Today, Built to Last Construction serves Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach with the same commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail that Rob established decades ago.
